Suitable for high speed steels, precision grinding and general surface grinding. Silicon carbide, used on low tensile strength materials, non ferrous metals and carbide tool grinding. All York grinding wheels are supplied in a unique storage box, which helps prevent chipping and other accidental damage. Spare cases available on request.

York? Clean "n Strip Unitised Surface Cleaner

High stock removal producing a very good finish. Cleans surfaces faster and more effectively than wire brushes, scrapers or pickling pastes. As there is no metal components used in the manufacture of these high strength cool cutting discs, accidental damage to the work piece is eliminated. Suitable for grinding right into corners, across contours and in hard to reach areas. Ideally suitable for preparation and cleaning of welds, rust removal and removal of discolouration.

Aluminium Oxide general-purpose grade resin fibre backed, sanding discs are designed for a wide range of industrial applications. High speed penetration of tough and high tensile materials combined with long disc life and optimum flexibility ensure York sanding discs give first class performance every time. Recommended for use with all portable grinders and sanders. Available in a choice of grades and in diameters of 100mm, 115mm, 127mm or 178mm.

York? Mandrels

For use with Cartridge Rolls. This steel adaptor is used to secure and hold both tapered and parallel sided cartridge rolls to air grinders or electric drills. This holder is used by sliding the cartridge roll onto the mandrel pilot until the bottom of the abrasive touches the threaded steel area. Simply screw the cartridge roll onto the threads to secure. Your mandrel should be at least 13mm longer than your cartridge roll.

Spirally wound Aluminium Oxide cloth rolls that wear in use constantly exposing new abrasive. Used for weld flash removal, deburring, blending and polishing applications. Available in two types. A steel mandrel must be used to secure the abrasive to the tool.
