Aluminium Oxide general-purpose grade resin fibre backed, sanding discs are designed for a wide range of industrial applications. High speed penetration of tough and high tensile materials combined with long disc life and optimum flexibility ensure York sanding discs give first class performance every time. Tough general-purpose aluminium oxide which is hard wearing. Used for surface and off hand grinding. Refined aluminium oxide with a faster grinding operation. Suitable for high speed steels, precision grinding and general surface grinding. Silicon carbide, used on low tensile strength materials, non ferrous metals and carbide tool grinding. All York grinding wheels are supplied in a unique storage box, which helps prevent chipping and other accidental damage. Spare cases available on request.

Manufactured to assure operator safety and optimum performance. For use with all portable angle grinders. 180mm to 230mm discs can also be used on circular saws, and 300 to 350mm discs are for use with chop saws/cut-off machines, subject to bore compatability. Not to be used for wet cutting.
