3M Stikit® Discs 338U

Aluminium oxide paper. For general purpose sanding. Fre-Cut coating inhibits premature loading to give a longer lasting product, particularly in fine grades. Features the 3M Stikit self-adhesive fastening system to ensure sheets remain firmly attached to Stikit accessories while in use. All general purpose sanding applications by hand or using portable sanding machines.
Use on: Wood, Paint/Lacquer, Fillers, Metal.
Mineral: Aluminium Oxide.
Backing: C-weight Paper.

XT (premium) and CG (general-purpose) discs are made of tough Clean & Strip material. It is especially designed for those cleaning applications where product life and edge retention are particularly important.

Cleans surfaces faster and more effectively than wire brushes, scrapers or pickling pastes. Spindle mounted for easy fitting to a die grinder.

3M Aluminium Zirconia Fibre Discs

A fit for purpose fibre disc for heavy, medium and light grinding applications. Good performance and a consistent quality finish. High performance alumina zirconia (AZ) mineral bonded to a vulcanized fibre backing. Conveniently packaged with 50 discs on a re-usable disc-holder clamping system, for easy storage and retention of disc shape and form. Good performance on stainless and mild steel as well as other ferrous and non-ferrous materials. Available in a choice of grades and in diameters of 100mm, 115mm, 127mm or 178mm.

3M 260L Hookit™ Discs

Micron graded aluminum oxide resin bonded to a 3mm polyester film backing. Open coat abrasive surface is coated with a dry lubricant to resist loading. With loop backing for attachment to hook faced backing pads. Easy to re-use.

Produced by adhesively bonding and compressing web together to form a slab from which wheels are then cut. Work extremely well in deburring applications, will leave a very high quality fine finish.
