3M Sanding Sponges

3M Sanding Sponges offer a variety of grades and flexibilities for contour sanding on woods and lacquers.

Softback Sponge - 115 x 140 x 5mm

This sponge is coated on one face. At just 5mm thick it is the most conformable of all the sanding sponges and is available in three different grades.

3M Scotch-Brite? Unitised Wheels

Produced by adhesively bonding and compressing web together to form a slab from which wheels are then cut. Work extremely well in deburring applications, will leave a very high quality fine finish.



Maximum RPM: 51mm Dia: 16,000. 76mm Dia: 12,000. 152mm Dia: 5,000. 203mm Dia: 4,000.

3M 245 Hookit™ Discs

Stiff E-weight paper gives a strong backing and long product life. Resin bond resists heat to prevent premature "burning". For initial and intermediate sanding on solid wood furniture, wood and metal door frames and other hard and soft wood, plastic and metal surfaces.
Use on: Wood, Metal, Paints, Fillers, Plastics.
Mineral: Aluminium Oxide.
Backing: E Weight Paper.
Coating: Open.
Bond: Resin.

3M Stikit® Discs 338U

Aluminium oxide paper. For general purpose sanding. Fre-Cut coating inhibits premature loading to give a longer lasting product, particularly in fine grades. Features the 3M Stikit self-adhesive fastening system to ensure sheets remain firmly attached to Stikit accessories while in use. All general purpose sanding applications by hand or using portable sanding machines.
Use on: Wood, Paint/Lacquer, Fillers, Metal.
Mineral: Aluminium Oxide.
Backing: C-weight Paper.
Coating: Open.
Bond: Resin Over Glue.

3M 777F/707E File Belts

For grinding stainless, nickel alloy and titanium. 3M material bonded to a tough cloth backing. Incorporate a grinding aid to ensure long life and high cut rates on all metals. Can be used to blend scratches left by coated abrasive belts.

Finishing product coated onto a film backing for consistent finishing. Aluminium oxide with an anti-load coating.
