York High Performance Flap Discs

High performance alternative to sanding discs. Have the advantage over depressed centre grinding discs on light gauge sheet metal where surface finish is important. Overlapped abrasive strips slowly wear away revealing fresh abrasive, ensuring the disc always cuts effectively, reducing clogging, provides constant finish throughout disc life, generates less noise and heat - less blueing. No backing pads needed - fits directly onto machine. Safe to use at 80m/s on any grinder. Tested at 150m/s and approved by the German Grinding Wheel Authority (DSA).

York? Flat Reinforced Cutting Discs

Manufactured to assure operator safety and optimum performance. For use with all portable angle grinders. 180mm to 230mm discs can also be used on circular saws, and 300 to 350mm discs are for use with chop saws/cut-off machines, subject to bore compatability. Not to be used for wet cutting.

York Grinding Wheels

Vitrified bond for precision grinding. Unaffected by water, acid and oils. All 1,1/4?? bore, supplied with 1??, 7/8??, 3/4??, 5/8?? & 1/2?? bore nylon bushes. Tough general-purpose aluminium oxide which is hard wearing. Used for surface and off hand grinding. Refined aluminium oxide with a faster grinding operation. Suitable for high speed steels, precision grinding and general surface grinding. Silicon carbide, used on low tensile strength materials, non ferrous metals and carbide tool grinding. All York grinding wheels are supplied in a unique storage box, which helps prevent chipping and other accidental damage. Spare cases available on request.

Freud Circular Saw Blades

Anti-kickback Design: Kickback is caused by over-feed. It happens so quickly it can be impossible to react before injury occurs. On a table saw the wood is thrown back violently, on a radial arm saw the blade climbs quickly out of the cut and on a hand held saw the saw is pushed out of the cut. Freud's design reduces this. Each tooth is followed by a limiter, which restricts bite to the maximum safe amount. Teflon Coating. Resistant to friction and heat build-up. Teflon coated blades last longer, cleaning is easy and the distinctive coating also gives rust resistance.Whisper Quiet Expansion Slots: A question-mark shaped slot allows for the necessary expansion yet reduces noise. Laser Cut, High Strength Bodies: The use of precision lasers to avoid unwanted stress in the metal. The method also allows the use of higher strength steel (40 to 45 Rc).
