Silicon Carbide man-made abrasive with very hard, sharp particles. This makes it ideal for non-ferrous metals, hard surfaces, alloys and cemented carbides. Also used on stone, marble, glass and plastics. A superior abrasive that is able to penetrate and cut quickly with only light pressure being applied.

All Kennedy Depressed Centre and Flat Reinforced Cutting wheels now carry the "oSa" (The Organisation for the Safety of Abrasives) mark of approval. "oSa" is an association of the world's leading abrasives manufacturers. In France, it is mandatory to use only oSa-certified rough grinding wheels and cutting wheels. Similarly in Germany and Italy, it is strongly recommended that abrasive products conform to the relevant EN standards. Kennedy® Bench Stones

Aluminium Oxide man-made abrasive which is extremely tough enabling high speed penetration of high tensile materials without causing excessive fracturing. This resistance to fracturing makes it a versatile material suitable for general sharpening and honing applications.

Single Grit Aluminium Oxide

For workshop use. Ideal for sharpening chisels, plain iron and virtually any metallic implements. Available in two types.

Kennedy® Mounted Points and Wheels

Suitable for portable die and straight hand grinders. All points are aluminium oxide with "rubenite" as standard for all general purpose grinding and deburring on steels and most metals. Silicon carbide grade (suitable for stone/non-ferrous grinding) available on request. Shank diameters are metric as listed below with inch sizes available on request. Maximum speeds are quoted assuming that collet to back of point does not exceed 12.7mm (1/2") and are for guidance only.
