It is advisable to properly earth (ground) the Generator before using it. Use a 1.2mm2 copper wire attached at one end to the Generator?s earth connection point and the other end connected to an earthing rod set in the ground.
This will also dissipate the static electricity which will build up in the Generator during use.

The earth wire and rod are not supplied with the Generators. An earthing rod kit is available separately: Order Code: KBE-280-9000K.
