York Grinding Wheels

Vitrified bond for precision grinding. Unaffected by water, acid and oils. All 1,1/4?? bore, supplied with 1??, 7/8??, 3/4??, 5/8?? & 1/2?? bore nylon bushes. Tough general-purpose aluminium oxide which is hard wearing. Used for surface and off hand grinding. Refined aluminium oxide with a faster grinding operation. Suitable for high speed steels, precision grinding and general surface grinding. Silicon carbide, used on low tensile strength materials, non ferrous metals and carbide tool grinding. All York grinding wheels are supplied in a unique storage box, which helps prevent chipping and other accidental damage. Spare cases available on request.

York? Quick Change Screw Fitting Discs

For general use including blending welds and removing machining marks. Also suitable for use on mild contours as well as flat surfaces. Quick change screw fitting ensures that the disc is always perfectly centred without adhesive, moving parts or centre screw damage to the workpiece. Higher speeds can be attained resulting in faster stock removal reduced man-hours and increased productivity. Available in 25mm, 38mm, 50mm, 75mm and 100mm diameters for the abrasive discs. Also available in a surface preparation material that is designed for smoothing surfaces prior to painting, removing rust, oxides, imperfections and blending out grit disc marks to produce fine finishes on metal. All discs are compatible with 3M ROLOC? system holders.

York? Resin Fibre Backed Sanding Discs

Aluminium Oxide general-purpose grade resin fibre backed, sanding discs are designed for a wide range of industrial applications. High speed penetration of tough and high tensile materials combined with long disc life and optimum flexibility ensure York sanding discs give first class performance every time. Recommended for use with all portable grinders and sanders. Available in a choice of grades and in diameters of 100mm, 115mm, 127mm or 178mm.

Made from high quality nylon, which is both flexible, durable and does not clog as easily as standard abrasive. 6mm shank diameter. Alternate flaps of abrasive and interleaved with a versatile high quality nylon. Ideal for: matching/blending a finish, light deburring, decorative/cosmetic applications, on most materials, rust removal and blending. Available in a choice of Coarse, Medium, Fine and Very Fine Density Grades and in sizes 50 x 25mm, 50 x 50mm, 76 x 50mm and 100 x 50mm.

York? Clean "n Strip Unitised Surface Cleaner

High stock removal producing a very good finish. Cleans surfaces faster and more effectively than wire brushes, scrapers or pickling pastes. As there is no metal components used in the manufacture of these high strength cool cutting discs, accidental damage to the work piece is eliminated. Suitable for grinding right into corners, across contours and in hard to reach areas. Ideally suitable for preparation and cleaning of welds, rust removal and removal of discolouration.
