Q8 Cutting Oils

High performance neat cutting oil providing excellent tool life and surface finish. For multiple machining applications: milling, drilling, thread grinding, broaching, gear hobbing, etc. Multi-metal applications: ferrous and non-ferrous metals. Non-staining on non-ferrous metals. A clear, pale yellow straight cutting fluid manufactured from solvent refined mineral oil and blended with fatty oil and chlorinated additives. Ensures good tool life and cutting performance. A wide range of duties may be performed using this oil, for apart from its application to automatic and multi-tool lathes handling the higher tensile steels, Ilocut 486 is suitable for such specialised operations as production thread grinding, broaching and multi-cutter milling set-ups. Castrol Ilocut 486 is suitable for both ferrous and non-ferrous materials, high tensile steels, Inconel, high nickel and stainless steel. Castrol Ilocut 486 is suitable for general use on automatic and multi-tool lathes, production thread grinding, broaching, multi-cutter milling and gear hobbing (Gleason Revacycle). Rustilo DWX Rust Preventatives

A powerful solvent deposited rust preventive with excellent dewatering properties. The solvent, after evaporation, leaves a soft greasy protective film. Rustilo DWX rapidly removes water from components subsequent to metal treatment processes such as electroplating processes after machining, using soluble cutting fluids or parts that have been washed. Can be applied by brushing or spraying, it's dewatering action is most effective if the articles to be protected can be immersed in a dip tank.

Rustilo DWX 31

Suitable for use on cylinder liners, gears, spiral springs, simple hand tools, steel rods and bars etc. The very thin residual film provides effective medium term protection against corrosion during intermediate storage or transportation. Stable film characteristics reduce run-off losses and thus increase process reliability
Protection:
Indoors - 12 months.
Outdoors - 6 months (Assumes primary protection from a tarpaulin or other cover).

Castrol Spheerol L-EP Greases

Lithium-based general-purpose extreme pressure greases, based upon mineral oils and incorporating extreme pressure agents to protect bearing components subject to heavy and shock loadings. Available in a range of consistencies to suit most applications, from an NLGI 2 for general-purpose bearing lubrication to an NLGI 00 semi-fluid grease suitable for centralised lubrication systems and grease filled gearboxes. Being lithium-based, Spheerol EPL greases have good water tolerance, are resistant to water washing and incorporate powerful rust inhibitors to protect bearing components against corrosion.

Hyspin AWS? Antiwear Hydraulic Oils

Castrol Hyspin AWS? hydraulic oil has been specially formulated to provide good anti-wear and thermal stability performance using the very latest additive technology. The careful blend of additives with a high quality base stock ensures that Hyspin AWS? has excellent hydrolytic and oxidative stability while exhibiting a minimal tendency to produce sludge and deposits. In addition, Hyspin AWS? provides corrosion protection to ferrous and yellow metal components found within a hydraulic system.
