Rustilo? DWX32 Dewatering Corrosion Preventive

Castrol Rustilo? DWX 32 is a medium to long term protective for use in severe conditions where a high degree of protection is required. It is ideal for protection of machine tools and components prior to storage or transportation. The product also shows good water displacing properties. Although Rustilo? DWX 32 can be applied by brushing or spraying, its dewatering action is most effective if the articles to be protected can be immersed in a dip tank.

Rustilo DWX Rust Preventatives

A powerful solvent deposited rust preventive with excellent dewatering properties. The solvent, after evaporation, leaves a soft greasy protective film. Rustilo DWX rapidly removes water from components subsequent to metal treatment processes such as electroplating processes after machining, using soluble cutting fluids or parts that have been washed. Can be applied by brushing or spraying, it's dewatering action is most effective if the articles to be protected can be immersed in a dip tank.

Rustilo DWX 30

The very thin residual film provides effective medium term protection against corrosion during intermediate storage or transportation. Rustilo DWX 30 can also be used as a lubricant for mild press working, where corrosion protection without further treatment is required.
Protection:
Indoors - 9 months.
Outdoors - 3 months (Assumes primary protection from a tarpaulin or other cover).

Techniclean MTC 43 Machine Tool Cleaner

Techniclean MTC 43 is a medium to heavy duty machine tool cleaner and steriliser, based upon powerful low foaming surfactants, emulsifiers and antimicrobiological agents.
APPLICATION
Techniclean MTC 43 has been specifically formulated to deal with a wide variety of machine tool contaminants and is easy to use with minimum disruption to production, being added direct to the coolant system whilst still in operation.

Cleans machine tool systems of a wide range of contaminants including fatty build-up in pipelines and floor ducts

CONDITIONS OF USE
An addition of 1 - 3% of Techniclean MTC 43 is recommended. The amount added depends on the general condition of the coolant system (1% is usually adequate)
Introduce Techniclean MTC 43 where there is a good coolant movement e.g. immediately beyond the pump outflow back to the main settling tank, or direct into a velocity trench or floor
return channel. This ensures complete mixing with the coolant.
Add Techniclean MTC 43 8 - 24 hours the day before the coolant is scheduled to be discarded. The machine tools should then be operated normally for a minimum of eight hours.
Machine tools, which are not wetted by the emulsion, could be cleaned manually by using a 2 - 3% dilution of Techniclean MTC 43.
Following this period of circulation (max 24 hours), empty the entire coolant system and machines and dispose of the coolant in accordance with normal work procedures.
Rinsing with a fresh coolant (about 1%) is recommended.
