High performance alternative to sanding discs. Have the advantage over depressed centre grinding discs on light gauge sheet metal where surface finish is important. Overlapped abrasive strips slowly wear away revealing fresh abrasive, ensuring the disc always cuts effectively, reducing clogging, provides constant finish throughout disc life, generates less noise and heat - less blueing. No backing pads needed - fits directly onto machine. Safe to use at 80m/s on any grinder. Tested at 150m/s and approved by the German Grinding Wheel Authority (DSA).

Freud Circular Saw Blades

Anti-kickback Design: Kickback is caused by over-feed. It happens so quickly it can be impossible to react before injury occurs. On a table saw the wood is thrown back violently, on a radial arm saw the blade climbs quickly out of the cut and on a hand held saw the saw is pushed out of the cut. Freud's design reduces this. Each tooth is followed by a limiter, which restricts bite to the maximum safe amount. Teflon Coating. Resistant to friction and heat build-up. Teflon coated blades last longer, cleaning is easy and the distinctive coating also gives rust resistance.Whisper Quiet Expansion Slots: A question-mark shaped slot allows for the necessary expansion yet reduces noise. Laser Cut, High Strength Bodies: The use of precision lasers to avoid unwanted stress in the metal. The method also allows the use of higher strength steel (40 to 45 Rc). These bodies remain true, even after years of use. Tensioned Blades for Superior Flatness: Pre-tensioned blades ensure years of smooth operation. Burgess Engravers

Suitable for intricate engraving or security/identification marking. Each engraver is balanced to sit comfortably in the hand. The one hundred strokes per second penetrating pump action ensures the engraving point indents the workpiece rather than removing raw material from the workpiece, which could weaken it or change the molecular structure. The fine electro magnetic penetration adjustment allows use on a wide range of soft and hard materials including steel, plastic, glass and ceramics. Machined brass jaws prevent damage to engraving points if excess pressure is applied.
