Kennedy Cold Chisels

Kennedy cold chisels are manufactured from high quality, high strength octagonal section chrome vanadium steel with ground cutting edges. They are are used to channel brickwork, concrete, chip stone and to remove waste metal when a very smooth finish is not required or when the work cannot be done easily with other tools, such as a hacksaw, file, bench shears or power tools. The head of each chisel is chamfered to slow down the formation of the mushroom shape caused by hammering. Conform to: BS3066.

Flat Chisel

Used by the engineering and building trades for cutting and chipping cold metals, brick work and stone. The angle of the cut edge should be 60 - 70, inclusive, but is dependant on the material to be cut. When cutting metal, the softer the material is, the more acute the cutting angle should be.

Parallel jaws with smooth jaw adjustment and self-locking design prevents the jaws opening unintentionally even when under full load.

Manufactured from chrome vanadium steel with precision ground finish tapered jaws, that have a laser etched graduated scale for rapid setting of the jaw width.

When fully opened the movable jaw will not protrude from the body making them ideal for use in areas of confined access and the 15 off set jaw angle and 30 swing angle help reduce the time it takes to fasten or loosen nuts or bolts.
