Thor Soft Faced Hammers

A safer alternative for striking machined surfaces than conventional steel hammers. The impact resistant striking faces shape themselves to the component being struck, minimising rebound damage to the component and reducing noise pollution in the work place. The striking faces can be easily replaced once they have become worn. Available as standard, with a choice of 5 interchangeable face types:

Plastic Face

Malleable iron head, fitted with two white high molecular weight polythene striking faces for high impact applications.

Extension Bars

Manufactured from high quality chrome molybdenum steel. Black oxidised finish with permanent laser etched markings. Sizes 1/2" and above feature a hole to accommodate a pin and ring to prevent accidental removal for added security.

Thorex Plastic Faced Hammers

Chrome plated zinc heads with two screw on medium hardness plastic striking faces. Polyurethene shaft with non-slip textured PVC grip.

Traditional Engineers' Wrenches

With all steel, hardened and tempered bodies, solid construction, hardened ground jaws and knurled adjustable handles for extra grip. Straight handle design provides greater leverage, especially when using larger diameter taps. Tap sizes to ISO 529.
