Kennedy Cold Chisels

Kennedy cold chisels are manufactured from high quality, high strength octagonal section chrome vanadium steel with ground cutting edges. They are are used to channel brickwork, concrete, chip stone and to remove waste metal when a very smooth finish is not required or when the work cannot be done easily with other tools, such as a hacksaw, file, bench shears or power tools. The head of each chisel is chamfered to slow down the formation of the mushroom shape caused by hammering. Conform to: BS3066.

Used by the engineering and building trades for cutting and chipping cold metals, brick work and stone. The angle of the cut edge should be 60 - 70, inclusive, but is dependant on the material to be cut. When cutting metal, the softer the material is, the more acute the cutting angle should be.

Kennedy Small Parts Storage Cabinets

Manufactured from heavy gauge steel, painted finish with impact resistant transparent polypropylene drawers, allowing contents to be viewed when the drawer is closed. The lip on the rear of the drawer allows it to be opened fully without falling out. The cabinets can be stacked or mounted to the wall to maximise use of storage space.

Firm Joint Calipers

Manufactured from high quality steel, with a polished finish. Consisting of two legs which are held together by a large nut and screw to provide a firm friction joint. Each Firm Joint Caliper has an adjustable ground point which can be retracted for storage and the other leg is angled at the tip. The legs can be reversed, so the tip turns inwards or outwards. Firm joint calipers are used for scribing arcs and parallel lines by using the edge of the workpiece as a guide, and are also used for measuring from the centre point of a component.
