Ambersil Flaw Detector

Quick drying solvent cleaner/degreaser and excess
penetrant remover for the non-destructive testing of metal
surfaces by liquid penetrant inspection. The control is carried out using 3 products: Flaw Detector Cleaner, Flaw Detector Penetrant and Flaw Detector Developer.
Flaw Detector Cleaner is a fast drying, powerful degreasing solvent for the removal of dirt, grime and contaminants. Designed for the pre-treatment of the surface, prior to liquid
penetrant inspection and to remove all visible, colored traces of the penetrant.

F200
Super fast degreaser. An ideal alternative to chlorinated solvents. High degreasing power. Very fast drying time. Leaves no residue. Safe on all metals. Excellent spot remover for textile trade.

Gear & Wire Rope Lubricant

A fast drying, high solids, high penetrating lubricant that forms a tough, durable barrier against corrosion, abrasion, dust absorption, water wash off and extremes of temperature.

Ambersil Machine Oil FG

A general-purpose lubricant and penetrating oil, for use on food processing equipment where incidental food contact may occur. Based on pharmaceutical grade highly refined white oils. NSF H1 registered. Meets USDA 1998 H1, to be used as a lubricant with incidental food contact. Creates an effective water-repellent film. Prevents corrosion. Reduces friction and wear. Contains no silicone. Colourless film. Safe for use on metals, most plastics, painted surfaces and wood. 360 spray for all angle use, even upside down. 400ml aerosol.

Ambersil Rust Flush

Penetrating spray with freezing action engineered for convenience and performance. An advanced formulation based on the laws of thermo-dynamics which rapidly freezes rust down to -40°C causing micro fissures to form the rust layer. The micro fissures ensure the active penetrating ingredients get to work deep into the thread and allow the fastener to be removed up to 10x faster than ordinary penetrating formulations.

Corrosion Inhibitor

Anti-corrosion treatment. A clear protective coating that provides long lasting protection against rust and corrosion on internal and external metallic components.



Film will not harden or crack. Suitable for protection of ferrous metals in conditions of high humidity. Film allows for subsequent handling and resists acid finger printing. Forms a continuous homogenous film. Will not stain or mark components. Removes surface moisture on application. Suitable as anti-seize coating on bolts, hinges, fixings and moving parts. Meets MIL-PRF-16173E (Class I, Grade 2). Passes IP 178, Method B. 250 Hours minimum protection (ASTMB117) in salt spray tests.

FG Industrial Degreaser

Dissolves and removes greases, oils, lubricants, adhesives and contaminants from equipment, machinery, motors and metal parts. Specially formulated for degreasing electric motors. Non-corrosive and non-staining. Aerosol fitted with a 360° Spray System for all angle use, even upside down.

Ambersil Non Silicone Mould Release Agents for Thermosetting Plastics

Dry film for polyurethane, epoxy resins and polyesters. Will not stain or mark the moulding. Operational up to 180C.

Cleaner for Mould Tools and Dies. Quickly and easily removes oil, grease, old protective films, silicone and non-silicone based release agents. Evaporates to leave a clean, dry surface with no residues. Special formulation permits use on hot production tooling without excessive solvent loss by evaporation.
