No.4 Bailey Bench Planes

The base of the planes are manufactured from cast fine grey iron, all the contact surfaces are precision ground and polished to produce a stable platform for the blade. The unmachined parts are coated with a durable, high quality epoxy coating for long lasting protection against corrosion. The blade is manufactured from high carbon steel polished and precision ground, for a sharp long lasting edge. The blades are fully adjustable for depth of cut, alignment to the work surface and mouth size. The Frog with brass adjusting nut provides precise adjustment of the blade. The handles are virtually unbreakable and contoured to fit comfortably into the hand for improved control and reduced fatigue when in use.

Fore Plane

Fully adjustable metal plane for stock removal and truing up long edges or levelling wide boards. Kidney shaped lever cap screw hole prevents accidental slippage of cutter. Chrome carbon steel cutter hardened and tampered to retain a keen cutting edge. Fully adjustable frog for all tasks and timber types. Polypropylene handle and knob shaped for comfort. Finger tip adjustment for depth of cut and cutter alignment. Tight fitting spring steel cap iron for perfect shaving flow. Precision cast fine grey iron base for stability and wear resistance. Precision ground base and sides ensure performance to the highest tolerances. 460mm base x 60mm blade width.

Manufactured from specially selected steels. The dual material grip handle design allows the user to apply the greatest force with the minimum amount of effort, these are manufactured with a polypropylene core for strength and durability with a soft thermoplastic outer for non-slip comfort grip. Cranked Open Jaw Podger Spanners

Cranked handle assists with location of spanner on to fixings within a recess. Open jaw spanners are designed to engage the nut from the side and as it only engages on two faces of the fastener, care must be taken to ensure that the correct size spanner is always used. Podger wrenches have a tapered handle for assisting with alignment of fixing holes on jigs and fabrications.

Aviation Tin Snips

Manufactured from the finest industrial quality drop forged chrome vanadium steel hardened to 54 - 58 Rockwell with ground cutting edges, for clean accurate cuts. The double fulcrum compound action magnifies the pressure applied by the user making it easier to cut. Spring loaded to allow easy single-handed operation. The handles are coated for improved comfort, control and have anti-slip guards for extra safety. Thumb lock ensures the jaws are closed when not in use. Suitable for use on mild steel and other non-ferrous materials. Capacity: up to 1.2mm cold rolled steel sheet.
