16mm Spigot 'P' Type (Pre-set)

Designed for the production environment where they will be set and then dedicated to a particular application. There is no scale, the wrench must be set against a Torque Wrench Analyser or similar instrument. Setting system is designed to discourage unauthorised alteration. Coloured end seals are provided to identify the wrench to a particular operator, torque setting or calibration period.

Torque Range: 20-200Nm 15-150ibf.ft

Standard Series Torque Multiplier

The 'Standard series' torque multiplier has been designed for the specialist user where it is necessary to provide higher torque than would otherwise be possible due to limitations on space or operator strength. This series employs multiple stage epicyclic gearing to give a wide range of torque outputs and ratios to suit most applications. The torque multiplication is accurate to more than plus/minus 4% with a maximum output of 47,500Nm. *Models contain the AWUR 'anti wind up ratchet' mechanism. As with any high ratio gearbox (25:1 or more) a certain amount of wind-up (spring) has to be taken up before any useful tightening work can be applied to the nut. Each time the input device is released, the wind-up will rotate back against the direction of operation.The AWUR mechanism retains all of the wind up forces as they are created locking the multiplier onto the nut being tightened. This means that even when used upside down the multiplier will support it's own weight.

3/4" Square Drive Professional Adjustable

Incorporates 'click' sound and 'snap' feel to indicate when torque setting has been reached. Sliding switch on the ratchet head for instant direction reversal (except model 300 and 330, which has a push through square drive). Setting lock to prevent accidental adjustment of the torque setting. Scale located within handle Nm/lbf.ft graduated (kgf.m or ibf.in scale also available, supplied to order). Accuracy to +/-3%. Supplied in sturdy blow moulded box for protection. Supplied with a traceable calibration certificate to satisfy the requirements of ISO 9000 quality systems. With ratchet.

Highwayman Torque Multiplier

The 'Highwayman' torque multiplier has been designed for general purpose use where it is necessary to provide higher torque than would otherwise be possible, due to limitations on space or operator strength.Input to the multiplier is via a ratchet torque wrench (not supplied) set to one fifth of the desired output. This 5:1 torque multiplication is accurate to more than +/-4%. Supplied in kit form that includes a multiplier head, cranked reaction bar, straight reaction bar, and carrying case. Model 17220 also comes complete with spare square drive lug. Robust construction ensures long life with minimal maintenance.
