577 - Thread Sealant

Medium strength. Suitable for copper, mild steel, cast iron, stainless steel and galvanised pipe. Carries the German DVGW approval. tested in accordance with EN751-1. Certified to NSF P1. Conforms with: BS 6956 : 7 (gas).

574 - General Purpose Flange Sealant

Conforms with BS6920 (potable water). General purpose flange sealant for gaps up to 0.5mm. Typical applications are hydraulic and pneumatic control valves, transmission and engine flanges and marine pipework.
Suitable for 90% of flange sealing applications.

511* - Thread Sealant

Seals and locks in any position. Low strength and easily dismantled. Contains teflon to prevent galling. *Fast cure version of 572. Conforms with:BS 6956 : 7 (gas). Crries the German DVGW approval. tested in accordance with EN751-1. Certified to NSF P1.

567 Master Pipe Sealant

Low strength thread sealant with high lubricity to prevent galling on stainless steel fittings. (Should be used with activator 7649).

Recommended for all coarse metal threads where slow cure is required to prolong time frame for adjusting valves and fittings.
Temperature Range: -55C to 205C

5331 - Threadsealer Sealant

Recommended for use on threaded plastic or plastic/metal fittings carrying hot or cold water e.g. industrial and agricultural plastic water pipe systems, or drainage systems.

High Performance Silicone Gasket - 5900

Typical applications include stamped sheet metal covers (timing covers and oil sumps) where good oil resistance and the ability to withstand high joint-movement is required. It withstands on line, low pressure tests carried out before product begins to cure. The thixotropic nature of LOCTITE 5900 reduces the migration of liquid product after application to the substrate. LOCTITE 5900 has an excellent adhesion profile to an outstanding wide variety of plastic substrates, as well as glass, ceramics and metals. NSF International Registered to NSF Category P1 for use as a sealant where there is no possibility of food contact in and around food processing areas.

Activators for Thread & Gasket Sealants

7649N - Recommended for use when a very fast cure is required. 7471T - Recommended for use at below 15C or on inactive surfaces.

518 - Flexible Fast Cure Gasket

Recommended for sealing aluminium flanges and fills up to 0.5mm. Withstands fluctuations in pressure, temperature and vibration. Replaces pre-cut gaskets on rigid parts.

510 - Flange Sealant

Recommended for high temperature applications (up to 200C), where maximum solvent resistance is required.
AGA approved No. 2590 up to 6900kPA (100psi).

572 - Thread Sealant

Recommended for all coarse threads where slow cure is required to allow final adjustment before sealing. Meets BS 6956 Type A for sealing gas fittings. WRC approved for use with potable water.
